Colette, childcare - AB11 Aberdeen

My name is Colette I am 29 and have been qualified from august 2005. I left school went to do a course in childcare and from there on took a job in a private nursery in the west end of town there I stayed for 2 years where I completed my svq level 2 in childcare and began my level 3. I moved on to another privAte nursery in town. Soon after qualifying I was made pre school supervisor. Also a year into that I ran the after school club. I stated there for 5 years. Over that 7 years in both settings I worked with children from birth to 12 years. Planning activities based on the curriculum. I took which was ment to be a small break from childcare and moved on to a new career at Next where I stayed for 6yrs and made my way up to management.
But I missed childcare I missed the chance to aid and push a child's development.
So I came back to see if I could I took a supervisors position back at the nursery I worked at when Left collage. At the moment am still there but I feel I want to branch out into nannying. I want that more homed in attention on a few children and take everything I have learned over the years and put it into nannying with the perfect family and the perfect children.
