Lorna, nanny in Articlave BT51

My name is Lorna . I’m 24 years old and have a wee girl of 4 years. I’m originally from Manchester and have lived here for nearly 9 years. I have my level 2 childcare and a partial award for level 3. I have done my placements in a p1 class and a preschool setting. I was an apprentice in a daycare setting called little angels and only left due to moving house. I also worked as a childminder in a woman’s own home for her 3 children ages 1, 4 & 6. I also only left this due to moving house. I’m vet patient kind and love getting stuck in with the kids. My favourite activities to do are messy play such as making gloop (cornflour & water) and baking as I find this brings out the confidence in them to express themselves the most. I have also I completed a skills to foster course and hope to Persue this when my wee one is older.
