Charlotte, nanny in Aylesbury

Hi!
Charlotte and I'm 22 years old. I have worked with children in both a professional capacity and also in a work experience capacity from school since I was 16 years old. I have spent time in primary schools for both mainstream children and children with disabilities. I worked in a nursery for 6 months supporting children from the age of 6 months to 4 years old. I have spent the majority of my career working in a residential setting for children and young people with special needs. This job has been so rewarding and fun! Now I feel like I would enjoy spending one on one time with children in a home setting and becoming an important person in that child's life. I have a working knowledge of the EYFS guidelines and I'm able to create activities that are both integral to learning and also a lot of fun. I have a good knowledge of learning and development targets from my work with special needs children and I feel confident to apply that to my role with younger children also.

On a personal note, I play the guitar and ukulele and have a big passion for music! I love animals also, particularly dogs. When I'm not at work I spend my time playing music, doing arts and crafts, with my friends and fiancee and (where possible) travelling.
