I have been working at Long Crendon Out of School Club as an Assistant since September 2013 are to work as part of a team, planning and implementing activities in a play work environment. I also demonstrate a sound understanding of child development, children’s needs and safeguarding the welfare of children. More recently I have also been working at the PreSchool as a Preschool Assistant where I also have responsibility for 6 key children and recording observations in their development trackers within their learning journeys, which involves recording their rate of development, i.e. capable of washing hands without help. I also assist in planning activities for our topic of the week eg; weather collages or recently we've been doing Christmas pictures such as Christmas trees & decorating or colouring them. The children play games on the smart board to help with their learning. Supervising rolling snack which is from 9.30am to 10.30am. Show & tell for a letter of the week, for example H so the children will bring in an object beginning with that letter. Group time where my key children will do an activity towards their next steps.
I am hardworking, loyal and a good time keeper. I am also a driver and own a car.
