Currently, I am looking for full-time work as I am in-between studies. I feel as though I’d be an asset to your company as due to previous paid work and voluntary work experience I am able to confidently care for children of many ages. Further to this, I feel as though I’m an extremely conscientious, hardworking, motivated and organised person. I believe that I am a good timekeeper and I am always willing to learn new skills. I am able to work independently in addition to working within a team setting.

Summer camp assistant | July – Sept 2017
- At Sports 4 All I held a leadership role, by which I was required to have responsibility of large groups of children (aged 4 – 11 years), whilst ensuring they’re all fully engaged in the activities - having fun, whilst also ensuring they’re safe.
- To fulfil this role I was also required to create stimulating age-appropriate activities for the children to carry out. Such as manipulating the arts and crafts activities so that they can accommodate for all ages of children.

AKELEY WOOD JUNIOUR SCHOOL AND NURSERY Wicken
After school club assistant and nursery bank staff | Sep 2015 – July 2017
- 3 times a week I used to assist in the after-school club working with children 12 months – 16 years. Additionally during previous half terms and holidays I have provided extra care for the younger children within the nursery.
- My role within both the after-school club and nursery involves reading with students, assisting private study periods, encouraging good table manners during their evening meal and being an active member in and supervising play!

- This was a highly customer focused role where the client is of main importance and I try to ensure they are satisfied at all times whilst in the salon. Other responsibilities included keeping the salon tidy at all times, communicating with all members of staff such as the juniors, the stylists and external suppliers.

WORK EXPERIENCE
WAYNFLETE INFANT SCHOOL Brackley
Year 1 Classroom assistant | Oct 2015 – July 2016 (2hrs a week)
This work placement allowed me to spend time with a Year 1 class every week, some of my responsibilities during this time included; setting up and carrying out work and activities with the children, reading stories to them, diffusing conflicts and assisting the class teacher.

MAGDALEN COLLEGE SCHOOL Brackley
Year 11 COPE Classroom assistant | Oct 2015 – May 2016 (1hr a week)
This was a very different classroom placement as it helped me to gain independence, confidence and resilience. My responsibilities when I was in the classroom included ensuring the children completed their work by the end of the lesson, helping them with spelling errors, grammar etc. and trying to ensure they stay focused on their set task.

Some of my responsibilities when I was at the nursery were looking after the children, cooking food for them to eat and creating educational activities for them to take part in. Doing my work experience here has helped me to develop my communication skills and developed my teamwork capabilities.
