Kelly, nanny - B31 Longbridge

I am a highly qualified child carer looking to secure a full time Nanny role. I have completed a modern Apprenticeship in Children's Care and Development and complemented this qualification with various other certificates covering Allergy Awareness and Epipen Training, Safeguarding Children and Food Safety.

When I'm asked why I had chosen childcare as a career, I say that it is always something I had wanted to do and my goal in life is to own and run my own Nursery or nanny agency. In the meantime, my career plan is to gain as much one to one experience as possible as a sole charge Nanny which will enhance my portfolio for the future.

I am most proud of my achievements through learning at the highest level I can, and I take my work with children very seriously. I am proud that I can offer a safe environment and balance having fun with good routines and activities which encourage development. I particularly enjoy messy activities like shaving foam play, bake beans play and flick painting, and I describe myself as bubbly, hard working and I like to make people happy... and act daft around children!
