Hello my names Lucy, I am a 27 year old nursing student on a years break from university. I have previously worked in a primary school where I worked as a child specific teaching assistant where I assisted individuals who had specific needs or who had challenging behaviour. I truly loved every moment of my time as teaching assistant.
I am able to cook, clean (however this will be light cleaning duties at present, as I have a healing back injury and can't currently do too much). I love to entertain the children I look after with different activities such as baking, crafts, going to the park, playing games, going for walks.
I would have to say that my qualities as a childcarer is a respectful, fun-loving, individual, who is strict when required and has set boundries to ensure the safety of the child.
I believe the rates are fair charge, I have worked previously in a school for several years with primary aged children, as well as looked after family members and friends children of various ages. I am able to care for children of all ages.
