My name is Becky. I am currently a Room Leader of a busy nursery and I oversee a 2-3's room. I have 7 years of childcare experience working in nurseries, a creche, playscemes, babysitting, being an assistant swimming instructor, nannying and lots of experience with special needs children.
I want to go back into a career in nannying as I feel it is more personal and I would have more opportunity to give all my time and experience to one or a few children rather than spread it out across 16+ children that I do currently in a nursery setting.
My expertise is with younger children (0-5), however, I have had experience with older children working in summer playschemes and running sports classes in a busy gym. I have also had much experience with special needs, particularly autism, previously having been a one-to-one carer.
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, a CACHE Level 3 in Babycare for Nannies, an early years first aid certificate, a recent DBS check and a clean drivers' license for 7 years with my own vehicle.
I am a non-smoker and my hobbies include animal care, regularly volunteering at my local RSPCA, music, often going to gigs and the outdoors.
