Confident, smiley and bubbly!
I am an active, sporty girl who is happy to give anything and everything a go! I love being outdoors, trying new things and getting involved in all aspects of fun activities! I have no problem getting messy and creative with arts and crafts or calming down and watching a good film with a big bowl of popcorn! I love to bake and to cook but I cant say I'm the best baker!!
I love working with children and am continually encouraged by children’s eagerness to learn new things. I am able to express opinions using supporting arguments if needed but am equally aware it is important to listen, consider and respect others opinions. I am able to react with appropriate responses when under pressure, with a calm and collected manner. Having worked with disability in numeral working environments in the last 5 years I understand the differences within every child and am able to develop strong relationships and adapt to the needs of the child.
Punctual, reliable and tidy (I hate being late!!)
My confidence and social skills exceed my age and am described as a very persuasive and innovative young girl.
I have worked with young children since I was 13 and have been employed in numeral education sectors. Working as a teaching assistant at Pathfield's School I understand the care aspect to bringing up children and continually encouraging independence and choosing right from wrong. From working in main-stream schools both in Devon and London I learnt multiple techniques in disciplining and teaching which I felt very rewarding and a great experience.
Also working as a qualified gymnastics instructor I found the importance of role models and living by what you preach - I eat healthy and regularly involved with fitness and the importance of education and its impact of future choices. Able to focus on health and safety aspects and way up the risks of all activities as children still need to be children.
Throughout college, I worked within a school environment as class/learning support in year 1 and 2 (mixed age group class) and within the secondary sector of a special needs school, I gained multiple skills such as; behaviour management and group control, I supported numeral lessons in sport and also participated in the sports for schools programme within my school. I also learnt numeral methods of developing the academic learning; through role paly, worksheets and cross-curricular activities.
