Rebecca, nanny in Basingstoke RG21

I have had experience over the past year working with a range of children while studying my Level Three in childcare. In addition to two part times jobs in childcare facilities I also did a mothers help volunteer job in my spare time for twin boys from the age of 9 weeks. Where I supported the boys mum in daily routines, taking the boys on outings and cared for the boys while she had time to herself. These experiences as well as babysitting jobs from the age of 14 and caring for my two nieces and nephew, who is autistic, have supported me in developing exceptional child caring skills and understanding of children.
I enjoy being around children and supporting them in their development and learning immensely. I find caring for children a rewarding and inspirational role. I believe by creating a positive and happy environment for children it will help them to thrive and develop naturally. I am a naturally happy and bubbly person with good communication and organizational skills which I believe are some of the most important skills to have when caring for children.
I enjoy being outdoors and creating fun new activities to do with children, such as messy play with paint, gloop and other materials. I also enjoy going on new adventures such as taking the child outdoors and exploring the environment, one of my favorites is creating a 'treasure hunt' for the children. I am happy to partake in general household duties such as cleaning and cooking and would be happy to take the children to groups and classes if required. I am a very warm and loving person and feel I would fit in nicely in a family household.
