Abi, nanny in Bearwood BH11

Hi i'm Abi!
I am a caring and driven person. I love the outdoors and am completely passionate about childcare. I aim to provide a safe and happy environment for children and their parents.
I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and education, am DBS checked and also hold an up to date paediatric first aid certificate. I have completed safeguarding training and am constantly looking for ways to improve myself. I have a keen interest in SEN and have previous experience working with SEN children.
My previous job was working for Barnardos across the Children's Centres in Bournemouth; working with both children and their parents/carers and families. Before this job, I volunteered for Barnardos, eventually running my own Under 1's group at one of the Children's Centres.
I enjoy providing age appropriate activities and planning for each child's individual needs.
I have also had a short term nanny role for an 11 year old and 9 year old- collecting them from school, providing healthy meals and helping with homework etc. I also provided school holiday cover, providing all meals and age appropriate activities throughout the day.
I currently work in a nursery as a baby room practitioner and absolutely adore this age range. In this job I have gained a vast amount of knowledge, I follow each child's individual routine and cater for their every need from 7.30am until 6pm.
I have previous experience in a nursery and school settings from work experience and college placements as well as helping out at a local school throughout my teenage years.
I am looking to gain experience as a nanny and hope to provide a warm and loving environment.
I have two nieces aged 2 and 4 of whom I have provided care for since they were newborn. I love helping my brother by taking them out to local groups, to the library, soft play and the eldest to baby ballet. Seeing them grow and be happy is my main goal and I love them to pieces.
