I been working with children from 0-11 years over the last 14yrs, Well i started working in Childcare 14 years ago, I started as a childcare assistant and then 5 years ago got promoted to supervisor. My role includes opening up the facility at 8.30 and setting up the daily activities, meeting and greeting parents. I work with children through play everyday is different as you can imagine with young children. I have worked with children aged 0-11 yrs all ages and abilities. My passion is teaching young children confidence and the willingness to learn and be adventurous. Im a keen believer that all children need life skills which they should be taught at an early age so teaching them independance is also what i practice. Being a mother myself of two beautiful children who are very well mannered and respectful, I know that teaching children to say please and thankyou can only come back in good ways. I have done so many childcare courses NVQ 2 early years development, NVQ3 early years development, Managing Childrens Behaviour, Positive Parenting, Child protection Training, Speech and Lanuage and First Aid .......But i can honestly say my experince is all thanks to working hands on over the last 14 years with all the many children and families i have encountered and loved. I love working with children and im very easy to get along with and down to earth, so working in a home environment will come easily for me.building strong bonds and ever lasting relationships with each individual family, providing nothing but the highest quality of care. Organising, planning and working in the community for the last 13 years has been an amazing opportunity for myself, I have gained many skills and have worked with hundreds of families over these years. All which I have helped in many different ways (4 years)
