I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and a native English speaker from the UK. I have a wealth of experience , bringing up my own children ( 2 girls now aged 23 and19 ), nannying in London ( although a long time ago...2 families in Belgravia and Kensington)), and teaching children aged 3-12 yrs., ( permanent, supply, one to one and private tuition... My interest lying with improving children's confidence in English ). , both in the UK and Kuwait, in many different social settings.
I continue to stretch my own mind and body, learning French for 6 yrs., and Czech for 3yrs., the latter I approach as a challenge rather than a difficulty!:-) By learning new skills myself, it helps me to put myself in a child's position most of the time, enabling me to help them approach new tasks with excitement rather than with trepidation.
I love music( playing the flute, recorder, learning the piano and have a sax to learn when I have time!), swim very regularly, play tennis and have a general interest in most sports. I also practice yoga and meditation. I'm at my happiest outdoors and anywhere near water and I definitely want to live life to the fullest, rather than watch it on TV !
I also love the arts including dance and the theatre, and I guess I'm very animated when engaging with children and am a creative person. I love children to have the freedom to be creative within a structure of a certain amount of routine. To have the "room" for spontaneity is a wonderful thing to be treasured. I am passionate that children should be treated as individuals with different ways of learning, and this should always be taken into account .
If a CV is required I can produce this on request. Thankyou.

Explanation:

To be honest, the rates are new to me. As a teacher I would earn at least 25£ / hour. If the work would involve primary school teaching with their homework , then I guess I would look to charge around this amount. As far as care is concerned, I have a wealth of experience, nannying in London, ( residential), primary teaching ( 3-12yrs), and bringing up my own children( now 23 and 19). I would need to be guided with rates but I like to think I have enough experience to qualify for a very reasonable rate.
