My name is Jessie, those I know call me Jay but it's a preference thing. I don't mind. I live in the Bury area. I'm 18, achieved all of my GCSE's by 2013 and achieved my level 1 and 2 in motorcycle mechanics to which has just become a hobby, my other hobby is dressmaking which I am willing to pass on bits and bobs, tips and tricks to older children. My partner is a carer/personal assistant for a man with cerebral palsy working 9-5 who loves to exercise and eat steak in his spare time!
I'm looking for a family that need my help with providing care for their child or children. I have no professional experience but I helped raise my brother as my mum worked 6am till 6pm weekdays.
I would consider myself experienced because of this. I'd get him ready for school, iron clothes, make his lunch, take him to school, pick him up, make his dinner, wash his clothes.
I'm willing to do all things as such including cooking, general household cleaning making it less stressful for the family when they return home. I'd love the responsibility of taking care of a child of any age. I'll play with all children, all ages and make trips out for fun if wanted; to the park, the leisure center for swimming and/or roller skating, lunch out. Smaller children and babies, we can go for short walks.
I'm willing to work weekdays and most weekends but not all weekends. 7am starts are as early I will take on and can work into the evening with some late nights in there if needs be. Part time would be best, but part time is very vague, you just need to ask me when I would be needed and I can let you know if I can make it for you!
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $6.80 per hour |
It's below my usual rate of pay from previous employment. Childcare is also expensive and I've no professional experience except raising my brother.
