Erika, nanny in Blaby

My name is Erika Hold and I am 19 years old. Since from a very young age I have always wanted to work with children, I have been in several nursery's Either as a volunteer or as a worker.
* Play Days Nursery - 1 week (voluntary).
* Sunflowers - 7 weeks placement (voluntary).
* kushi care - 3 months ( unfortunately I was advised to leave due to the manager being unkind to me).
*Westcoates Day Nursery where I am currently at now , but due to them closing I have decided to look at taking a different route I have worked at Westcoats Day Nursery for 1 year and 7 months and have learnt so much along the way and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the job roles I have within the nursery are to play along side the children and help them learn new and wonderful things and help them develop in the way they should I take observations and link them to the EYFS (early years foundation stage) I also organize lots of activities for the children to do witch I really enjoy doing some of the activates I have done are,
* den building
* bug hotel making/ tadpole ponds
*rhyming games
*milkshake and smoothy making
*arts and craft activities
In my spare time I like to go and visit my family in Skegness.
I like to bake cakes and cookies.
I like to do gardening and go shopping.
some weekends I baby sit for my nephew or my next door neighbours Children.
I am a non smoker and non driver but am looking at starting my lessons in September time.
I consider my self to be hard working and a determind worker and a fun but firm person.
