Jordan, nanny in Bletchley

My name is Jordan and I am 19 years old. Some people may think that 19 is too young for a babysitter or child carer, but I believe that I am at the right age as I am fun, energetic, sensible and mature. I currently work at Bounce Indoor Trampoline Park which holds hundreds of children aged 3 years plus on a daily basis. I have had a lot of reviews from customers saying that I should be a child minder and a big buddy to children and some parents have said they would happily leave their child with me as they believe I looked after them very well.

I am looking for full time child care and I have looked after my 3 year old cousin many times and he loves to play with his Thomas The Tank Engine toys which I am happy to get involved in even though it can go on for hours. I have looked after my friends children who are aged 10 months - 5 years old and there are 5 of them (4 boys, 1 girl).

I have had many years of experience with children aged from 6 months +. My mum is a primary school teacher and has been for the past 12 years. I have helped out at her school when I was in sixth form studying a Triple BTEC level 3 diploma in sport. On my days of or if we had different term times off I would go in for the whole day and help in the classroom, PE teacher with activities, after school club along with board games and outside sport game along with assistance with homework.

I was a young leader back in sixth form and helped out with events like the panathlon games which was an event for disabled children at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. My role was to help the children in activities when they needed it and to boost their confidence and make sure that they were enjoying the time. I am also a level 2 football coach and I am first aid trained at work and have dealt with a load of injuries from unconsciousness to breaks.

I love getting involved with any activity that the child wants to play and I am very imaginative myself and have a lot of good game ideas in my head that can be played which are very sensible and fun.
