Nicola, nanny in Bowdon

My name is nic, I am a hard working, well presented young lady, I love to have fun and between all the daily tasks will be a very giddy infectious individual to be around. With the 7 years experience of caring for children under the EYFS curriculum. I love to be surrounded by children and find I spend the majority of time outside work with my nieces. I am currently working in retail I am seeking to rejoin my passion of working with children, the reason for my temporary change in career was simply as the nursery is being sold as a domestic property this July therefore bringing me to take a job not neccesserely my career choice. The favourite part of my previous job role as nursery manager was the bonds with all my children and truly how inspired I was by helping to nurture and watch each individual child grow and develop. I have food safety level 2, and was also allocated to cooking all meals at the nursery. I am paedictric first aid trained along with safeguarding level 2. I would be willing to access further courses in the future to expand my knowledge, I have level 2 city&guilds NVQ in childrens care, also CACHE level 3 in childrens care, learning and development. I also hold a level 3 in leadership and management. My aim is to care for each individual child to the fullest, ensuring a feeling of comfort and excitement both to the children and parents. I enjoy planning a range of fun inspiring activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, den making etc dependant on the child's interests I will adapt every part of the day to maintain an exciting stimulating experience.
