Gergana looked after my kids for two years while living with us as an au pair and she performed diligently throughout her term. I am writing to recommend Gergana for a family looking for someone to care for their children and to help with cooking, washing and a variety of light housekeeping chores. Gergana looked after our two children – Lucas and Anita – for the period July 2011 – July 2012 when they were aged 5 and 7 respectively. During this time, Gergana performed her duties reliably and responsibly and we always felt comfortable leaving the children in her care. She helped our children in the morning get ready for school, have breakfast and accompany them to school. At the end of the school day, she used to meet them and took them to various after school activities (e.g. swimming). If we were not able to be back in good time from work, she was competent in preparing food for the children and ensuring that they had showers and prepared for bedtime. She is an intelligent person and helped the childrens' development by encouraging them to do creative activities and also supervised their homework. She is also highly considerate and acts thoughtfully. She enjoys cooking, is very good at baking and is a proficient seamstress. As a live in nanny/mother's helper, she respected our privacy as well being a welcome guest in our home and socially engaged in our family life.
