Beth, nanny in Bristol

I am a qualified childcare professional with a lot of experience, ranging from nursery to school ages. I am looking for part time or full time childcare work, babysitting nannying. I have also always grown up around young children in the family so have always been around children of various ages. I feel I have a good initiative when working and am able to calmly deal with tricky situations or just tricky children! I enjoy getting involved and keeping the children busy and I'm always thinking of new ideas for activities and games for the children to enjoy! Luckily I'm not squeamish and nappy changing or grazed knee attention doesn't bother me, which is handy for this area of work! I have no worries about preparing food for children I am given care of, and am able to prepare healthy and balanced meals which are age appropriate.

I have a full drivers licence which I have held since April 2011, but unfortunately not my own car!

During my college course I completed over 800 hours of work experience ranging from nursery to school ages. If you require references from any of my work placement settings that would be no problem. I have had a number of babysitting experiences, evening/day and after school, of which I have visited the same family more than once after being asked back. I also worked as a part time nanny for two families up until their children started full time educational care (nursery and school).
I find that I can easily bond with children and create friendships with ease, this helps in childcare situations not only with the children but it also helps parents to feel safe and happy that their child is in good hands.
I am due to finish my BA in Early Childhood Studies at UWE in April 2016. Within this course again I have completed various work experience placements.

I am extremely flexible with when I can be available so ask away and I'm sure we can work something out!
