Hi my name is Emma , I am 18 years old and have just (09/2014) started my third year of college, in my first two years of college I took Maths, English Language and Psychology, I received DCC (In order) I know they aren't the best results, I had some family problems at the start of my second year and I didn't do as well that year, I have gone back to college to resit some of the exams I didn't do to well in and make the end results better, I have also picked up English Literature.
I hope to go to Southampton University after I finish college, taking educational studies and then continuing to do my PGCE so I can be a primary school teacher for children with physical and mental disabilities!
I have a part time job in Co-operative pharmacy, I have had this for two years now.
For my first two years of college, I volunteered in my local primary school, I would spend one day a week in a year 2 class, helping with their maths, I would take a small group of students out and help them understand better. I would also do reading with them.
I have been a guides leader for 2 years, I went through Brownies, Rainbows and Guides when I was younger, I love spending time with the girls and doing activities with them.
Over the summer of 2014, I child minded two young boys whilst their parents were at work, I would do all day Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
My aunt has four year old twins, I have helped her since they were born, babysitting and just helping her out in general with them.
I am hoping to find some extra experience with young children, I love spending time with them and it would be amazing to have an impact on someones life, helping to shape them into something great.
