I also have plenty of experience with children of varying ages, whilst attending college; I took part in placement programmes. These included a number of different classes within a primary school, day nurseries and I also spent time in a Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities unit (PMLD) within the same school, where I acquired basic Makaton sign language skills. After completing the placement programmes, I volunteered in the PMLD unit in my free time.
I have also babysat and looked after a number of different children for friends and family. I have experience with children of 3 months – 14 years. I also volunteered in a Play scheme for a couple of weeks during August 2012.

Interests
I enjoy spending time with friends and family and going out and meeting new people. I enjoy watching TV programmes such as NCIS, The Bill and Home and Away. I also love watching films at home and in the cinema and relaxing with a book. I enjoy going for long walks with friends and dog walking. I love animals and have grown up with many different animals including; dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets and birds including Goss hawks. I especially like spending time down Mumbles in Swansea and walking along the beach as well as relaxing at home and in the garden. I like going shopping and visiting new places. I am now living with a friend who has a pet rat called Regan and a cat called Hyde.
