My 3 year BA Honours degree in Early Years Education consolidated my real passion for the pastoral care of children. My degree has given me an in-depth understanding of children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.

I am enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy and have a warm, friendly, loving approach to children. I think it is very important to create a safe, supportive and stimulating environment for the children in my care.

DBS checked.
Child first aider.
Full clean UK Driving License.
Non-smoker.
Pet lover.

My experience in childcare has been diverse; consisting of primary school teaching placements, daily nanny work, babysitting in the evenings, working in children's nurseries and voluntary orphanage work in Ghana.
I have planned many fun, educational and engaging activities for children of different ages and abilities and wherever possible I like to use the outdoors.

-Trainee teacher placements for children aged 2-7 years:
Plan and teach lessons, provide continuous provision for the children, assess children against age related mile stones.

-Sole Charge Daily Nanny and babysitter for:
Children ranging from 12months-9years.

Three children - two boys aged 3 and 5 and a girl aged 12 months (who was teething). Included nursery duties, feeding, nappy changing, proving fun activities and settling them for bed.

Two girls aged 5 and 7. Creating fun activities, reading bedtime stories, settling them for bed and caring for their Cocker Spaniel puppy!

One girl aged 5. Proving fun activities, making small meals and snacks for her and settling her for bed.

Two boys, aged 6 and 8. Calming the younger boy as he was anxious about his father leaving, proving fun activities and settling them both for bed.

-Ghanaian orphanage volunteer teaching and pastoral care:
