Tabitha, nanny - BS2 Bristol

Hello!
I am a confident, creative and friendly person, looking for a job in childcare with ambitions to work in teaching at mental health pupil referral unit.
I have been studying Drama and Acting (BA) at UWE but have decided to take a break from studying after suffering some mental health issues of my own.
In the past I was an Air Cadet, where i learnt first aid and started working with those younger than me. This led me to take a mentoring course and really I felt childcare and tutoring were my passions.
Due to circumstance I moved to London during my A levels and I had the great opportunity to tutor and look after a KS2 student with moderate learning difficulties. We spent time on the work his school had set, as well as working on his problem areas, such as spelling and maths. It was such a joy to work so closely with his family, who have offered to provide references at request.
I would love to have this connection with a family again. My passions include music, I play the piano, guitar and I sing and have taught children music theory in the past, and writing, mostly poetry.
