Dana, nanny - BS36 Coalpit heath

Dear Families, My name is Dana and I am looking for part time/casual babysitting.

I have spent a year in Australia and whilst there, completed a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and have my children’s first aid which I also gained in Australia. I also have an Australian working with children’s check however will be soon gaining a DBS check. I do not currently have a driving licence but can easily get around.

In addition to my 6 week placement in a day care in Australia working with under 5’s, I have also done several babysitting roles with children from the ages of 18months to 15years. I am currently in college Wednesday- Friday lunchtime doing an access course so I can study radiography at university next year. I am also in the process of volunteering at Southmead hospital.

My experience with a very large family of younger cousins has also helped me develop my child caring skills. I also live with my 9 month old nephew and 3 year old niece therefore I am familiar with routines and being in a home environment with little ones.

I love children and will always treat any child in my care as my priority responsibility. I believe in creating a fun, safe environment where both the children and the family feel comfortable in my care. I will follow any instructions given by the parent as I fully appreciate that they are the main caregiver and best know the child. and aim to support the child in his/her development. My favourite activities with children involve painting, bubbles and dancing.

I am more than happy to take part in other household duties such as cooking, cleaning, pet care and general household duties. I work well with others and can quickly build a rapport with both the children and the family. I have a keen interest in photography and would be more than happy to utilise this hobby if you would like.
