My name is Amy, I am currently working in a Nursery as the room manager of the baby room (3 months to 18 months) I also have experience working with children up to 5 years. I have been working here since March 2009. My role includes looking after the children's needs - making up bottles for each child, putting children to bed, help with feeding at mealtimes and changing nappies. I have key children, I monitor each individual child's development and fill out observations and planning in their own learning stories.
I am the health and safety officer at the nursery which involves looking after all safety aspects of the nursery ensuring it is a suitable environment for children, staff and visitors.
I work within a team of 5 in the baby room and 27 staff members in the whole nursery, I work well in a team but also work well independently, I am able to multi-task between jobs.
I am looking to become a nanny, preferably full time with one family but also willing to do nanny share with another family.
I am first aid trained.
I have training on safeguarding children.
I have an up to date enhanced dbs.
I have a full UK driving license.
I am willing to become ofsted registered if needed.
I enjoy going to the gym in my spare time and going for a run in the morning and evenings. I enjoy socialising with friends, going to the cinema, reading and watching tv.
