Firstly I am a very confident communicator. I am able to use the correct communication skills for abiity level of the persons in whom I am communicating to. I am able to communicate in english but also in welsh to an A level standard. I am very relable and always will put 100 percent into any position I am in. I have a gentle nature to myself and show empthy and commpassion when needed. I like to believe that I am very approchable as within my current employment many pupils have approached me with issues that they have been having. And example of this would be a new year 7 pupil was being bullied, he found the courage to come and confine in myself. I then took the right channels to solving the issue that he was having. Within my job roles over the years I have worked with many outside organistions from speech and language theropist , teacher of the deaf to social services. I have worked along side parents in the past to make sure that we communicate greatly about their children but also to make sure that they get the right support to achieve the best from their education. I have worked along side many GlSO( attendance officer ) and have picked up many stratgies on how to deal with attendance issues with both pupils and parents. I have a great knowledge and understanding of behaviour mangment, SEN and I have also had brief training in Team Teach and PBS. I am currently studying in the nights to become a qualifed teacher. So far I have obtained my level 4 in lesson planning and delivering lessons. I feel that this in itself is a good quality to bring to this role as it will allow me to confidently deliver any classes or courses to parents and pupils. Within my roles I have worked very closey with parents on many issuse weather it be a problem at home or a problem with their child at a school setting. One issue I have dealt with was when a pupil confinded in me about her home struggles. I then reported this informtion and the right course of action was taken to provide them as a family the right support. I have a great undersstanding of speical needs and behaviour difficulties as this is part of my day to day job. I encouter children walking out of school , being disruptive and rude to teachers and on occations I have to deal with pupils being physically abusive. I have had to have one to one chats about behaviour and how we can improve on making that behaviour better or how we can learn to deal with their anger issues. I myself am a caring person due to being a parent myself. I always go above and beyond to make sure every individual pupil is given the best support and guidence so that they can achieve the furture that they are set out to get. There has been many difficulties within my job role such as language barriers with pupils. For example a student that had no understanding of english. I then had to find the best possible way to communicate with them so that they could achieve a education. To start with a online translator was used within lesson, along side encouraging her to use basic english phases. Also extra literacy was put inplace for the pupil to learn basic english. 8 weeks on and their english is improved a vast amount. I am very confident when it comes to working with people from all different background and from all different walks of life. Im very non judgementle and will always offer support to anyone that may need it. Within my job roleat the moment I currently do a nuture group one a lunch time for pupils with weak social skills aswell as other additional needs. Within that group I also do a lot of promoting of extra curriclar activites the school offers or fun activites that another outside organastion E3 offers pupils. I like to believe that I am very creative and have a good imagination when it comes to creating displays. I am a good team player and follow direction really well. Im very open to constructive feedback about my job role and am always looking for feedback on how I can improve within my role. I am always looking for new challenages and will always take up any training or courses that will better my job role or career.I am a confident speaker to both large and small audiences through the medium of both English and Welsh and am able to adapt my communication skills to suit people of all levels. I am am excellent listener who respects all peoples opinions and views. I thrive on taking up new challenges, working under pressure and seizing new opportunities. I am willing to understate any training to Improve my career. I hold a clean current driving licence and have my own transport. I have past experience dealing with customers , suppliers and am able to mange task to the correct timeline allocated. I am very organised and always on time. I can work well alone as well as in a groups.
