Megan, nanny in Chichester

My name is Megan and I am 20 years of age. I am a calm character however, with a polite and mature personality. I have a desire for hard work and I am not one to shy away from a challenge. I am a bubbly, enthusiastic, hard working young lady and I set myself standards of the highest levels and aim to exceed these. One would say I am a sociable young lady but I have acquired an adult like approach to my work. For me, not letting myself down is extremely important and I value the way I approach life. Being a part of a child’s development is very gratifying and rewarding to me; I appreciate each and every child differently and try to understand their individual needs. I worked in nursery just outside of Chichester for a year and half, working with children aged 3months-5years. During this time I gained experience in: Toileting, feeding, sleeps, setting up activities, talking to parents and all procedures and policies. I also worked as a live-in Nanny for four lovely children aged between 9months-8 years. I had shared and sole charge of all children, I gained experience in weaning the baby, setting up stimulating activities to encourage friendly play, bed times and sole charge of the children.
I currently work in a nursery in Chichester and have done for over 2 years now, I have learnt to develop my skills when working with children, gaining an in depth knowledge of the EYFS and all early years regulations.
