Alice, nanny in Clapham

I am currently a student of French and Hispanic studies at Queen Mary University of London. I am coming back to Bedford over summer so I am looking for work during the period of June - September.

I have lots of experience in childcare, after working as both a nanny and au pair.

I worked as a nanny for a family in Bedford with 3 children aged 10 months, 3 and 7. I worked for the family 5 days a week, when I would get the children up and ready for school, drop them off and pick them up from school, feed them, ensure all homework was done, play with them, and put them to bed. I also did household chores, such as laundry.

I was an au pair in Paris for 3 young children, ages 1, 6 and 10, for 6 months. I looked after the children for between 6 and 12 hours a day and was mostly working alone whilst the parents were working. The children were home schooled, therefore I spent the whole day with them. I had a lot of responsibility looking after the baby, having to feed, bathe and put him to sleep. I gave the children an English lesson daily; meaning I have experience in tutoring.

I have also previously helped out at Lincroft Middle School drama groups after school, running and assisting the classes for the children.
