Hi my name is sarah and I am 40 years old. I've always have a love for children and have worked as mothers helps for two families and a babysitter for another.
I also helped run a nursery when my children were little, I was the chairperson on the committee but spent lots of time with the children. I myself have 5 children ranging from 11 to 17.
I think the most important things to think about when looking after children is to open, sensitive, caring and most of all fun. Little people need to be kept safe and occupied. If a child is happy I think that they learn more about the world around them.
I like to do all sorts of play with the little ones, imaginative play, learning about nature, baking cakes, lots of arts and crafts, basically anything to keep their minds active.
