I am a mum of 2 children a son of 18yrs old and a daughter of 15yrs old, they have thankfully grown up to be very sensible level headed children and have been very supportive through the 5 years of fostering.
I would like to look after children full time as it is something I enjoy doing and always have. From being a child minder to a foster carer to a 1-1 support assistant I have worked with lots of children I have been kicked, punched, strangled even spat at. Some children have said things I would not of believed could of come out of there mouths. My understanding was that they are only children and clearly need support and understanding and the correct help.
I still like old fashioned games like hop scotch and the songs with actions - dingle dangle scarecrow, pat a cake, etc., along with board games and any other games a child likes to play. Computer games are fine however my personal view is there should always be a time limit to it.
I understand the importance of safer caring.
A child's well being is paramount.
Ideally I would love fall time Monday - Friday as I have other things going on at weekends.
