Poppy, nanny - CO4 Mile end

I have experience working with children in a nursery setting, school and family home.

I worked in a nursery after achieving level 2&3 health and social care. My role as a nursery nurse included organising activities to meet the children's developmental needs and safeguarding the children.
After one year working in a nursery I wanted to experience working alongside families on a one-to-one basis as a nanny.
I have worked with four families one of which I have worked with for 5years. My role as a nanny have included;
Activities planned to meet the children's development needs,
Ensuring a safe environment,
Teaching good man
Driving children to and from activities,
Sterilising bottles etc,
Help children develop habits of cleaning and hygiene,
Prepared meals,
Toilet training,
Providing a structured environment,
Providing guidance and redirection,
Helped with homework,
Providing emotional comfort,
General cleaning duties,
Ensuring a loving and caring environment.
These are just some of my roles.

I also have experience working within a school environment on a one-to-one basis as a SEN TA.
