I am looking for full and part time work as a Nanny/Babysitter in Nottingham. I have a degree in Education Studies and Drama and I have over one years experience as a teaching assistant (some of which was spent working 1:1 with children who had additional needs).

As a full or part time carer, I would help the children with homework and ensure that they are engaged in meaningful activities which the children can help to choose based on their personal interests. For example: if the children chose firemen as an interest, I could use this to create activities (research using internet and books, arts and crafts to make hats and fire engines, maths to count fire exits and hazards around the house, writing activities, roleplay) which would be enjoyable and educationally beneficial. Therefore I would charge a slightly higher rate due to my professional background.
