I'm Georgia and I'm 19 years old. I've recently left college after achieving my A levels and I'm currently studying a part-time Foundation Degree in Learning Support at University on a Tuesday evening.
My ultimate dream career would be to become a primary school teacher. I love to help and care for people, particularly younger children, and even though sometimes it can be tough, the end result is always rewarding. It would be fantastic and satisfying to see children's lives change for the better because of the help I've provided. I'm a good listener and I give people honest and fair advice. I would especially love to work with children aged 4-5 as I have had much experience over the years through volunteering at a local nursery, helping with a crèche and volunteering as a buddy in primary school. I am in my element when babysitting and my heart lies with caring for children. I enjoy having fun with them but I also recognise the importance of discipline when necessary. Whilst working with children I've discovered how important it is to be patient while teaching them. I've learnt to correct them when they make mistakes but to praise and encourage them regularly, to keep being persistent until they are eventually able to do it. I enjoy watching them learn and progress.
