Cordelia, nanny in Crick NN6

I have recently finished working as a sole-charge au pair to three primary school aged children. My main duties were to get the children up and ready for school in the morning, make their pack lunches, keep the house clean and tidy, do laundry, cook the children’s evening meal, help them with their homework, take them for a walk, and provide interesting activities. I also put them to bed about once a week, depending on the needs of the family. In school holidays I organised educational activities for the children. Their favourite activities were outside activities, such as picnics, and creative activities, such as making paper chains or decorating Easter bonnets. They particularly enjoyed my stories, and would often ask for them.
I am flexible in my work, and consider presenting a united front with the children’s parents to be vitally important to providing the best possible care. I am traditional and no nonsense in my approach to childcare, but always ready to have fun.
