I am a 17 year old girl, 18 on the 18th of December. I have experience looking after children starting from my own siblings to friends children to working in primary schools and doing a childcare course. I didn't finish the course because of personal reasons but I have a clear knowledge of how children are and should be cared for. I done just over half a year within the course, I did work experience and book work. Within the course you learn how children work and what level each age should be at mentally and physically. Not all children achieve theses levels as all children are different and devlope at different rates, but it give you a rough idea of what stepping stones they shoul be achieving.
I have experience with looking after children from 5 months to 14 years old. I love to cook and I used to be a part time cleaner if required to help out more.
I always try to get the children interested and to join in the tasks and actives, keeping children occupy is the best way to keep them keen and happy.
