Kerry, nanny - CV10 Stockingford

Hi! I'm Kerry and I'm a kind, caring and bubbly 29 year old who loves being around children! I have no children of my own, but I am around friends and family who have children from newborns to 10 years old, and I have helped look after all of them. I have been furloughed during the coronavirus outbreak, and I have realised during this time that my job in the media industry brings me no joy, and it is time to do something new that I enjoy. Since my dad got cancer this year, I have realised how important caring for others is, and how important the work of caregivers is, and I want to do something meaningful where I positively affect others lives, and they leave an impact on mine.

I am looking for full time, or long term work.

Since I was a teenager I have looked after children in various capacities. When I was younger I worked at a local youth group for 4-11 year olds, running activities and games, story time, working with parents to determine any needs they might have, and generally looking after up to 30 children. I also did child development at school, and did multiple placements within nurseries and schools.

I also have a lot of experience looking after children who are my friends and families children. I have a lot of hands-on experience with children from newborn to 10 years old. I am happy with all aspects of caring for a child, from changing nappies to picking them up from school.
