Hollie, nanny - DA16 Welling

Hi my name is Hollie and I am 23 years old.
I hold a BTEC National Diploma in childcare, learning and development (Level 3).
I have recently renewed my paediatric first aid certificate in January 2016.

I have worked as a nursery nurse in a private nursery for the last 3 ½ years, progressing to second deputy manager.
I supervise up to 3 people and have responsibility for up to 24 children on a daily basis. On a day to day basis I plan activities in advance for the children in my care; I organise and work towards a targeted outcome to develop the children’s individual needs. I also write a report about how my room is doing for the purpose of staff meetings, which require me to be honest and reflect on changes and situations that have materialised in the room and what I have done to resolve the situations for the benefit of the children and the room. I have developed my focus and organisational skills in order to maintain the daily running of the rooms’ routine. I complete daily observations and quarterly reports for the parents in regards to the children’s development and regularly hold progress meetings with them which I am able to do in a friendly and articulate manner. I am reliable, responsible and am quick to learn new tasks. I have very good people skills, I enjoy meeting new people as well as learning new skills from others.
