Hi my name is Alice and I'm 20years old, I have worked in a children's nursery for 2 yrs working with children from 3months to 10yrs and done work experience at various child care centres including schools and nurseries. Whilst being at the nursery my duties were, meeting the children's needs by planning appropriate activities to meet the child's individual requirement. During the summer I worked at a children's summer camp for 10weeks in America working with children aged 8yrs-15yrs teaching horse riding. I have a BTEC level three National Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development, first aid and CRB, I have my own car and a clean valid licence. I am a very bubbly and outdoorsy person who's always outside riding my horse or walking my dogs, I am also very reliable and organised within my work. I am looking for full time work being a nanny to children where I can share my lifetime experiences with them.

Alice worked at Camp Walden in Denmark, Maine where I am the Head Counselor. As her direct supervisor I was in charge of making sure she knew what her day to day responsibilities were and having conversations on how to improve as a counselor. Camp Walden is an all girls residential camp. Alice was a bunk counselor and horse back riding instructor. Alice was very enthusiastic and the girls really enjoyed spending time with her. She was very invested in making sure the campers were happy and well taken care of. Alice did get some anxiety in overwhelming situations but I am aware that she is working on coping mechanisms. I have known Alice for approximately 1.5 years firstly from Little Darwins (nursery) where my son Oliver attended nursery 1 / 2 days per week and secondly on a personal basis whereby Alice has looked after Oliver for me. One of Alice's best qualities is that she is always honest, if Oliver has not been happy or upset, she will always tell me. I trust Alice 100% and would recommend her to any future employer. Alice has taken Oliver out to the park on many occassions and he is always happy and excited to see her. She is always happy to engage in activities with Oliver and has alot of patience when teaching him something new.
