Maisie, nanny - DN3 Armthorpe

Hello my name is Maisie and i am 18 years old.

I am very passionate about children and love to see them grow and develop to their full potential. I am a strong believer in positive re-enforcement as i feel it create a nicer environment and gets a better response from the children if they feel they are rewarded for positive behaviour more than being disciplined for challenging behaviour.

in my past experience i have been given positive feedback on my ways of dealing with different behaviours and the long term impact it has had on children during my time doing 720 unpaid placement hours at primary schools and nurseries.

I have a level 3 Qualification in childcare, a First aid certificate and a level 1 knowledge of sign language. I have experience working with children with learning delay and have spent a lot of time with SEN children due to spending a lot of time in hospital as a young child to teenager due to a physical disability before treatment was started to lessen the effects of the condition. i am a good cook and regularly cook family meals at home. Regular meals i cook are different forms of meat, veg and potato in different, different pastas, stir frys, fajitas and home made chicken and fish in breadcrums.

I have a 5 seater car and a full clean driving licence and am more then willing to complete school runs, out of school activities etc.

i feel i am a very caring person and i love to form strong relationships an see the children grow in their confidence in different aspects of their life.
