Hello my name is Leonie, I'm seeking a position that allows me the ability to use my experience, love of children, and knowledge of learning concepts on an everyday basis. For the last 10 years I have been a mother, supporting and nurturing their emotional and intellectual development. I’ve enjoyed every moment. I believe my positive influence, caring and patient attitude has given me the ability to support childrens development. My youngest child is currently attending Pre-school. I made the decision to dedicate my skills, positive attitude and knowledge of children’s social, emotional and intellectual development to assisting in an educational environment. I volunteered in Humberston C of E school between 04/2016 – 12/2016 and obtained a level 2 teaching assistant certificate. I thoroughly enjoyed supporting the children learn through play and imagination, encouraging them to have the confidence and determination, rewarding them for positive behaviour and successfully handling difficult behaviour. Observing their understanding of phonics and their communication skills. Through my experience and developing knowledge concerning the school
system, I know this setting is where I can support, inspire and encourage young children. I hope to continue motivating and provoking challenges that promote their learning.
