Shayla, nanny in Drongan

Hello, I'm Shayla. A mother of one girl aged 2 and live with her and my husband in Drongan. I am currently advertising myself as a nanny/babysitter with the intention of registering myself as a childminder in the near future. This means that at the moment I can only legally look after children in their own home or outwith my home. I am fully insured however and if you would like any recommendations from parents whose children I have cared for previous to undertaking a nanny position then I am more than happy to arrange this.
I am educated to degree level, having a BA(hons) Degree in Performance and straight after completing this I ran my own drama groups for children aged 5-18 for a brief period. I then was married and started a family of my own. I have always known I wanted to look after children and I feel this is a great way to do this as well as spending time with my own daughter.
I have been working within care homes over the past 12 years so have lots of experience within a challenging care environment, all be it with the elderly as opposed to children. But through this I have learned many health care techniques as well as having great patience. I am registered with the sssc and am pvg checked as well as being insured.
