Hi, my names Emma!
I'm currently living in Connecticut in the USA. I'm working as an au pair here and have been since Feb 2016. I will be returning to Scotland Feb 2017 and will be looking for some work.
I have been working in childcare since leaving school and have been babysitting since I was 15. I have 1000's of hours experience working in multiples settings - nursery, childminding, babysitting and I am currently an au pair.
I have my PVG and many other certificates that I would be happy to provide if needed.
I have a full drivers license and will be getting a car when I return home. I have a lot of exeperience driving children as its one of the current responsibilities in my job at the moment.
I have experience working with children from the ages of 6 months old, up until 12 years old.
I have multiple references that can be provided on request.
I would describe myself as an incredibly social person, I love being in the company of others whether it be adults or children. As a result of this I spent a lot of my free time socialising with my friends & family when I can. I like to go out walking and I also enjoy visiting different places and meeting new people hence the reason I left home and moved to the USA!

Emma was a childcare assistant in my very busy childcare setting, with children from six months to seven years old. She helped in the day to day care of each individual child, with a enthusiastic and professional manner. She treated each child as individuals and provided each child with opportunity to develop. She encouraged creativity, self expression. She promoted good behaviour through praise, encouragement and guidance. She was a positive role model and promoted social skills, encouraging courteous behaviour and respect for others. Emma was a good time keeper and often went beyond her duties to provide a safe, secure environment for each child. I recommend Emma as a positive addition to any childcare setting.
