Donna, babysitter in Eastbourne BN21

I am a mum of four children and a Nanna to seven grandchildren, with ages ranging from 8 mths to 10 years old.
I loved being a mum and do play a big part in all of their lives. I have a very nurturing personality and because of this I want to continue to work and spend time with children.
I recently worked as an Individual needs assistant within a prep school. A very hands on role with their education and free time. I spent a lot of time with them and their family and still have a very close bond with them all including their grandparents.
The children within the school found me to be very playful (I laugh a lot), but was always someone they could turn to for comfort if needed or just that person to make them smile.
The parents could always depend on me for advice and knew that I always set their child’s safety and safeguarding as a priority.
I believe in promoting independency, allowing them to make choices (age appropriate), praising highly, never dwelling on a negative and building confidence through positivity.
I would love to work within a family where I can share their experiences and watch their children grow and hopefully make a small difference to the families’ lives.
