I am a fully qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner with over 8 years experience. I studied Childcare at College where I participated in a range of placements throughout my education, these include; private nurseries, school nurseries and primary school placements. The aforementioned placements helped me to gain not just my qualifications but practical knowledge that I have since built on through my career.

I am currently a Nursery Nurse in a private day nursery where I have worked for 7 years with children from 0-5 years old. I am fully qualified in Paediatric first aid, Safeguarding of Children, Food Hygiene and I have participated in various other courses. During my time in employment I have been the room supervisor in the Baby Room which involved planning activities to aid the growth, development and stimulation of the children. I also supervise the overall running of the room on a daily basis. My supervisors role also include regular babysitting duties.    

One of my hobbies involves making personalised patch work blankets and other children's keepsakes items, such as initial frames, Christening frames, new baby frames. And more recently, keepsake rocking horses. I continue to build on my craft ideas and I
enjoy incorporating my creativity into my work.

I am looking to expand my career in a different Childcare setting and develop my skills and knowledge further.
