Melinda, nanny in Edinburgh EH11

My name is Melinda , I am 21 years old, English and currently studying Business in Edinburgh, Scotland. Although born and raised in Manchester England, I moved to Edinburgh 4 years age to become a more independent individual, hoping to 'find myself'.

I have 2 older sisters aged 30 and 28 whom I am very close with and speak to frequently.
My mum is self employed as a registered Child-minder which is where I get the love of children from. Having to start this career when my sisters were born, I have been around children of all ages my whole life.

Although I don't have much in the way of professional experience, having been around children my whole life I like to think I am a role model to children my mother looks after. I am great with children, I will always find time to sit and watch a film with them, colour in, help with their homework and play in the garden with them.

My sister has a little girl called Jessica who is now 3 years old, she is a single mum so I helped her a lot when she was first born, helping prepare the formula, steaming all the bottles, changing nappies, helping with bath time and waking up in the middle of the night if Jessica ever woke up.

I would do anything for the children my mum looks after and find I treat them like they are my own family.
