Heather, nanny in Egremont

Hello my name is Heather I have looked after children for many years, when I was younger I helped out with my local brownie pack. From the age of 15 I did regular babysitting. When I left school I started to do my NVQ level 2 in childcare at my local hospital, working on the children's ward, special care, the child development unit and with the play coordinator. I then worked in a school assisting in the reception class. From there I moved to Switzerland and became an Au pair. When I stopped being an Au pair I moved to Hertfordshire and was a live in nanny. In 1993 I moved to Cyprus and worked in a 5 star hotel in the children's club. Whilst I was in Cyprus I met my husband who has 3 children so I helped look after them. My husband and I moved back to England in 2011 I did an apprenticeship at a local nursery and gained my NVQ level 3, I have also recently done a paediatric first aid course. I really enjoy working with children and find it very rewarding. I enjoy reading, photography, travelling and spending time with my family and friends.
