Nadia, nanny in England

Hello my name is Nadia; I'm 47 and a mother to a son of 17. I'm a free lance artist and a qualified TA who has had lots of experience of working with children of all ages including the experience of raising my son. I'm currently looking for a part time or full time postion as a mothers help.
I enjoy the interaction with children, they are entertaining free spirts with boundless energy which shouldn't be quashed; having a boy who ran everywhere; walks out with a picnic in a feild or to the park kept him entertained; nice times. The crafting which my previous work has involved is a winner with little ones, my son and I did lots of little projects when he was younger , you spend one to one time where encouragement and gentle nutering can be practiced plus they feel so proud when they've made smething. I feel I'm an approachable friendly person who enjoys smiling. I have empathy and patience with all human beings. I understand that childen have individual routines; dislikes and likes and particular care needs , I would respect parents wishes regarding how they wish the childcare to be delivered.I have good understanding of health and safety while in the home, and basic first aid, alot of it is common sense. It would be lovely to help a mother to look after her children as i remember how difficult it can be juggling everyday life when you have little ones , its so tirning, plus being a mother can be so isolating sometimes, so its company too. I would be willing to help out with what is required by the family , chores, shopping, cooking, activities alongside the child care. My professional experience with children has been during my art workshops in particular settings ; Cheadle Childrens Centre, ages 2-5 summer club , Abbey Hill Performing Arts, ages 10-16, Cheadle Scouts , Cheadle Arts Festival, age 7-15 and at Bishop Rawle School; volunteering and TA training. I also have a current CRB certificate and up to date references.
