My name is Emma. I am 28 years old and originally from Edinburgh.
I have 4 years of paid experience caring for children but have more recently moved back over to working with adults. However I feel my strengths lie in working with children and would like to return to this and further develop my skills.
I have a lot of experience in working with children with challenging behaviour (Autism and ADHD) and have found this work extremely rewarding.
As I worked in a special school I really enjoy assisting children with their learning and find this an extremely satisfying aspect of my job.
I would be comfortable caring for children in any age range. From new born to teenage (I have done this previously) .
As a childcarer I am patient, resilient and have a wealth of relevant experience. I am a naturally outgoing, caring, positive person and really enjoy the company of children. I pride myself in having the ability to build strong professional relationships with those in my care.
Lastly, I am a big fan of outdoor sports, swimming and I am an accomplished cook. I also have a keen interest in art and photography.
