Danielle, nanny in Girvan

My names Danielle , I'm 19 years old and live in Girvan. I was raised with 2 younger sisters and a younger brother who I also looked after most days. I currently work in the laundrette in Girvan, however I don't see this as being my choice of career path.

I am looking to work with families who are in need of childcare, I am very confident with children from newborn to secondary school. I'm very fun, outgoing and enjoy the outdoors, especially with children as I believe education is just as important as learning about the world around them. I do a lot of unpaid childcare (in my free time) for example, I'm trusted to take children to do activities in/outwith the town and offer occasional help with last minute up comings.
From the age of 16 I started babysitting for family/family friends, then when I turned 18 I started caring for children 1-3 times a week for other families. This came about because I advertised myself through social media/ word of mouth that built me up a good clientele. Travel is not an issue as I have families who stay outwith the Girvan.
Homework is never an issue as I'm good with ways of coming up with different strategies in how to get the child interested, also by making it fun and enjoyable. I can adapt to all ages In terms of interactive play as its a great way of keeping their little imaginations going.
