Currently, I am a relief nursery nurse working in a day nursery that provides childcare for children aged 0 – 5 years. I mainly work in the pre-school room but can be placed in any of the rooms depending on which member of staff is off and how many children there are in each room. As with being a relief member of staff, I can be asked to start earlier and stay later if necessary. This has made me adaptable as a person, reliable and a good team player. I am also hardworking with 12 years’ experience employed in various childcare environments. Diversified skills include time keeping, good communication, being able to use my own initiative along with having a friendly personality. I have been working with children since 2005, gaining both my level 2 and 3 in childcare along with first aid and safeguarding.
I'm looking for more babysitting work in the local areas. With me working relief, I can extend to part-time work depending on the families needs. This could be picking up children from school up to the time i'm needed.
I am creating busy bags for when I provide care. These are bags I will bring with me, depending on the child's interests, and includes paint, colouring, playdoh and hama beads.
